ABOUT US

Area 4 is responsible for administering Older Americans Act and Older Californian Act programs within our region.

We are a joint powers authority with non-profit status.

Our 17-member Governing Board is composed of County Supervisors and their appointees.

Our independent 35-member Advisory Council advises the Board and participates in regional, state and federal advocacy activities.
